Azza is currently pursuing a doctoral degree at the University of Texas at Austin’s School of Journalism and Media. She is a journalist, disinformation expert, and digital security consultant that has worked with independent media organizations, human rights organizations, and journalism students across North Africa and Western Asia (NAWA) to develop and support open-source investigations and fact-checking projects. Her interests sit at the intersection of media, technology and human rights.

Previously a consultant in media and social communication, Jawed Al-Awadhi has worked with numerous non-profit organizations and private companies. He has coordinated multiple projects covering accountability principles, digital rights advocacy, youth political engagement, empowerment of marginalized groups, and anti-corruption efforts.

Zahra Al-Qudsi leads the open source investigations unit at NAWA Media. As a journalist and fact-checker, she previously served as a researcher at the Yemeni Archive. Zahra's investigations document armed conflicts and human rights violations. She studied Public Relations and Advertising at Sana'a University.

Al Jaloud has over a decade of experience in project management with a focus on human rights and open-source investigations. Formerly, he co-founded Mnemonic and the Yemeni Archive and has worked as a regional advisor for the organization WITNESS. Al Jaloud produced two documentary films and received the "I" Award for Best Humanitarian Perspective TV News Program, hosted by Eichi Motoko in Tokyo in 2016.

Maryam Al-Dahdouh spearheads the audio production at NAWA Media, specializing in infographic creation and podcast production. She has produced podcasts such as "Ozone" and "Hanger #12." With her background in newsrooms, Maryam has published numerous investigative pieces focusing on environmental issues, education, women's rights, and social topics like mental health awareness.
